In our country, Hariyali Teej festival is celebrated more and more, such as: Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat etc. areas where married women celebrate this festival and pray for their good health and life. How is it celebrated?

The way to celebrate this festival is unique, the devotees worship for the happy marriage of Lord Shiva and Parvati. He also chanted Shanti Mantra and Sham Mantra on the occasion of Teej.

On this occasion, women wear green objects ranging from bangles to saris which symbolize ‘greenery’. They fast for a long time to pray for the happy married life of Parvati and Shiva.

She also makes mehndi designs to listen to the elder people of Shiva and Parvati. Women eat rice and curry, as well as sweets from festivals like ghevar and lado to break the fast.

The old two-day royal processions take place on the Old City roads during the greenery Teej in Jaipur. The procession includes an idol of Goddess Parvati called Saivari of Teej Mata.
